10 Great Things About Lorna (By Bart)

Lorna has been a little bummed out lately, so I thought I'd "secretly" post just a portion of what is great about Lorna. Feel free to add to the list in the comments. Let's make her day, week, month, and year.

  1. She is a wonderful wife and mother.
  2. Even when she's bummed out, she's still the happiest person I know.
  3. She never says anything bad about anybody, accept me and to my face.
  4. She is diligent and disciplined. Never misses reading her scriptures or saying her prayers even when getting home at 1 a.m. from a Jazz game.
  5. She is always the prettiest lady in the room.
  6. She is classy.
  7. She loves to poof (damage) her hair. (almost eight years and I still don't get it?)
  8. She is great at keeping house and doing laundry, I don't know how she does it, but my clothes are always folded and mostly put away. It is a never ending chore that I as her husband really appreciate. She is the hardest on herself about keeping house.
  9. Amendment to 8, she thinks the house should be ready for the President's visit, before a babysitter comes over. Crazy, but most of the time the house is so clean before we go out, that I just want to stay home.
  10. She's mine!

When I heard she was called to be the new STAKE primary pres I thought, "If anyone could do it wile having three youngs girls and another on the way, its Lorna" thats just the kind of person she is. And I LOVE and really appreciate the girls nights that she plans.

So many places to start- the hair poofing just makes me laugh. I so remember those days of living with you Lorna. In a very special way you made an impact on my eternity and the eternal families of my children and future generations. How can you thank someone for that?
You are an amazing person and I so wish I was closer to you (or at least saw you more than ever few years.)

So many things on that list brought back memories from our good old days at Old Farm. She always made me try harder to read my scriptures and pray, because she was always doing it! I also remember her hair, I wished I could do more damage to mine if it was cute like hers! And she was the greatest roommate and even gave me a roommate of the week award! Lorna you are awesome and your family is so lucky to have you as their wife and Mom! I love ya.
