Bart has had pain in his right shoulder for quite a few years now. I think it is from overuse in sports, mostly baseball/softball over the years. We have been anticipating surgery for a few years and decided this was the year to get it done. Well, March 9th was surgery day.
He had four incisions. They went in with a scope and cleaned up the labrum (O ring) and performed a tenial clavicalectomy (trimmed the end of his clavical) which was causing the pain. I have waited to blog until he is feeling better (the doctor predicted a week or two), but here we are in May and it is STILL not feeling better. We are anticipating another surgery to fix the different pain he is suffering from now. We were planning the surgery and recovery prior to the baby coming. It doesn't look like it is going as we had planned.
