Gracie's Sunday

Gracie (seven years old) was super excited to sing in Sacrament meeting yesterday. She and her friend Felicity sang "Scripture Power" and did a really good job! The two girls were asked to sing their song again in Primary! Gracie also volunteered to give a talk at the beginning of Primary for the absent person assigned. She gave a great talk, spur of the moment. She talked about the Tree of Life and that the fruit must be even better than a nectarine, her favorite fruit. She talked about the Iron Rod and that she loves the song “The Iron Rod.” It is fun to see (or hear about-I went home sick with two kiddos after Sacrament meeting) defining moments of their knowledge and testimony.

In addition to these events on Sunday, she also invited a friend to come to church with us that hasn't been coming. Wow, a missionary, too!

I am thankful for the things I learn from Gracie!

A Little More About Branson

Branson loves to tuck himself in little spaces. Like the refrigerator...

or under the kitchen sink...

I've mentioned before that he likes to climb. One thing he likes to climb on is the dishwasher door...I try to prevent him from getting on, I'm afraid it will break right off, but he got on quickly so I ran for the camera.

He is great at blowing his hot food...

We think he looks so handsome in his new church attire!


Side note: His tie is orange and blue, when Bart saw him all dressed up, the first thing he said was, "He looks like a Bronco's fan," I thought immediately of Valerie, my old college roommate, a die-hard Bronco's fan! :)

Here is one more pict that I had to add of Branson boy and Dad. I think it is quite tender! (Our new bishop took it at a Primary/Ward temple activity and gave it to us. Thanks to our great Bishop!)

Branson

Branson is now 18 months. He is so fun! His giggles are darling. His gives great hugs! He is clever already-he made himself a seat out of Bart's shoes. He loves to climb. (I have to put our stepstool on top of the washer or he will carry it around the house and reach whatever looks appealing!)

Teething has been a struggle. His teeth didn't start coming in until around one year. He is still getting teeth in, he is a trooper.

A sad thing about coming after three girls is that he loves lipgloss. I'm sure it's because he sees all the girls, including me, using it...he doesn't want to miss out. He also gets into our make-up.

He is a great helper. He loves to sweep, wipe things down, put things away, throw things away. We are so thankful to have him as part of our family.

2011

I am happy to be starting a new year! I enjoy the added motivation I feel to be a little better. One of my resolutions is to get back into the world of blogging. I am setting a monthly goal, but I am planning for a little more often than that. So, hello all of you out there...I'm back!
